This retreat follows the progressive path of Shiva Kaivalya Yoga (SKY), which blends traditional Hatha Yoga, anatomical precision, kriyas, pranayama, mantra, meditation, and philosophical insights to foster clarity, stability, and joyful transformation.

We begin by establishing a firm foundation—relating to the earth, learning to support ourselves, and refining posture and movement with precision.
Essential concepts of what is required in forward bends, backbends, side bends, twists and inversions are explored and provide a means to advancement through primary principles of movement and posture. Through linking static postures, we become embedded in Hatha and incorporate measure, drishti, breathing and counterposes. Strength and stability are the qualities that are emphasised as we cover the fundamental elements of the practice.
Ascension: Progress & Integration
With stable roots, the practice safely expands. We explore movement as a conscious evolution—linking breath, body, and awareness in rhythmic harmony.

The culmination is not a final destination but an opening—toward deeper freedom, advanced practice, and the ability to craft one's own journey with wisdom and joy.
Each day will explore a specific theme through morning and evening sessions:
Gentle arrival practice to release post-travel fatigue and reconnect with your body. Includes restorative yoga, spinal realignment, and an introduction to Bali's sacred traditions.
Therapeutic footwork, self-massage, and grounding postures to awaken your base and establish stability—physically, energetically, and emotionally.
Dynamic asanas and breathwork to cultivate physical balance and sharpen focus—an invitation to explore inner and outer alignment.
Nurture your digestive fire with deep core awareness, Ayurvedic insights, and somatic movement for emotional processing and release.
